What you'll do An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Database Assistant to join our Vehicle Information Services Division. This is a part time role working Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday each week (22.5 hours). The overall purpose of this role is: To maintain an accurate and up to date database of vehicle pricing and specification data. To liaise with customers and associates to gather information where appropriate, communicating via phone, e-mail and by letter. To accurately deliver assigned tasks as required to support colleague and client activities within the required timeframes, To contribute to managing relationships, through the provision of administrative and facilitative support to colleagues and clients alike. To identify training needs and proactively increase personal knowledge and skill levels.

Watch this space! What you'll do We are a growing community of Scrum Masters and Agile Coaches. We have diverse backgrounds and experience, from developers interested in becoming Scrum Masters to certified and professionally active Scrum trainers (we use Scrum.org). Collectively we fulfil two important roles: Support, enable and coach the software development teams as day-to-day Scrum Masters Act as change agents at team, cross team and organisation levels We want to expand by recruiting experienced talent. You'll share your passion for 'agile' and experience in applying Scrum, whilst working as Scrum Master for one or two development teams. Some are established Scrum teams, some are moving to Scrum for the first time, and some are forming entirely afresh around new products. Your role will primarily be to facilitate and enable the team's success. You'll support, guide, inspire, coach, and challenge the team, Product Owners and other stakeholders. You'll help the organisation as well as the team understand how to apply Scrum with rigour and wisdom, to build strong teams, to deliver quality software regularly and effectively, and above all, to satisfy customers.

What you'll do You will work in a scaled agile environment to develop insurance solutions to brokers, third parties as well as direct to the public. Broadly, the role is to implement user stories into fantastic features, using your code craftsmanship skills. Helping you develop your craft and pass on this skill is equally important to us. You will work collaboratively, championing agile/scrum best practise focusing on continuous integration, delivery, whilst facilitating problem solving. It's pretty fast paced here, we release software every 6 weeks, following an iteration of two, three weekly sprints. Automation is key part of what we do at CDL, you will use SOAP UI, Selenium to regroup and refactor, allowing quick changes to code, reducing duplication and improving maintainability. You will promote development best practise, and work autonomously in a squad, driving product growth. We're facing exciting growth at CDL, and continuous improvement is at heart of what we do.
