Sky Insurance launches WeekInsure on CDL

30th June 2016

Sky Insurance has launched a new short-term product, WeekInsure, to the CDL broking community. The new product provides seven days of cover for temporary additional vehicles and drivers.

Weekinsure offers brokers a greater range of acceptance criteria for cover than is usually expected for a short-term product, and also removes the obstacles often associated with extending a temporary change to a policy.

WeekInsure ensures that brokers are no longer required to access external systems to arrange short-term cover, with the policy quoted and 7-day certificate issued through the CDL Strata and Classic platforms.

Scott Forrester, Associate Director at Sky Insurance, commented: “At Sky Insurance, we're passionate about offering hassle-free, short-term cover. WeekInsure eliminates the extra time, resource and administration usually required to arrange short-term insurance, and we are delighted to partner with CDL to offer this unique proposition directly to the broking community."

CDL Commercial Director, Nigel Phillips, commented: "Over the past year CDL has partnered with a number of new insurers to strengthen our proposition to brokers, and we are pleased to be working with Sky Insurance to provide this innovative, short-term product to our broking community."
