CDL has reached the 300 AWS Certifications milestone, meaning that over the past year, it has added nearly 200 qualifications to its tally.

This follows a major strategic push throughout CDL's 2022/23 financial year to ensure that every member of its Software Engineering team holds at least one AWS certification, a goal which has been supported through training initiatives such as exam readiness sessions and on-site exam rooms.

In addition to their personal achievement, the result of the commitment of colleagues and their dedication to hours of study time is an enhanced reputation in an increasingly competitive landscape, as CDL Data Architect and AWS Ambassador, Matt Houghton, explains: "Having more AWS certified people on our teams continues to establish the credibility of CDL to deliver our insurance ecosystem within the world’s most secure and performant cloud platform.

The FTR process and Architecture Pillars are features that are tested as part of the AWS exams. Putting these skills into practice has enabled CDL to identify ways to achieve cost efficiencies whilst also delivering more sustainable services.
