Freedom Brokers launches on CDL Strata

1st December 2017

Freedom Brokers, a brand new motor insurance broker, has gone live on insurance software house CDL's flagship Strata solution, initially offering policies for van insurance. The newly launched brand is using Strata to power the retail experience via its website and contact centre in Cheadle, as well as via price comparison sites.

Strata gives Freedom Brokers' customers the ability to manage their insurance via an online self-service portal to view their policy documents, make mid-term adjustments easily and accept renewals at any time.

Ray Westwick, Managing Director of Freedom Brokers, said: "We're delighted with how CDL's Strata platform is working. It's been a really successful launch. We've also been impressed by the speed with which CDL deployed the system. Commission to implementation took just four months.

"We have ambitions to drive growth, including through wholesale relationships, and have every confidence that the power of CDL's Strata platform will make this possible."

Freedom is also using Echelon, Strata's intuitive, browser-based user interface to drive operational efficiency in its contact centre.

Nigel Phillips, Commercial Director at CDL, commented: "We're delighted to be partnering with Freedom Brokers to help provide a consumer-centric service for people shopping for motor insurance, and look forward to supporting them to scale up their operation."

Freedom Brokers has been founded by Sam White, CEO of Action365 and Managing General Agent of Pukka Insurance. The broker is initially offering van insurance, with private car due to be launched in Q1 next year.
