Live on Proteus
As part of its ongoing investment in its business, Sabre Insurance has moved its pricing and direct insurance platforms to CDL following a formal tender process.
The move sees Sabre launch on CDL's cloud-based insurer hosted pricing hub Proteus for mass market distribution with greater product and pricing control, while its direct private car and van brands, Go Girl and Insure 2 Drive will migrate to the Strata retail insurance platform.
Designed to support Sabre's growth and efficiency goals, the Strata launch includes use of CDL's self-service portal, which allows customers to manage their insurance policies online, from downloading documentation, through making mid-term adjustments to renewals.
New features for Sabre include access to the CDL API suite, enabling it to build and maintain its own brand quote and buy journeys, as well as out-of-the-box integration with price comparison websites.
Sabre Insurance CEO, Geoff Carter, said: "Sabre has ambitions to further increase the competitiveness of its direct products whilst significantly enhancing customer experience. Moving to the CDL platform will allow us to realise operational efficiencies whilst also offering greater convenience, autonomy and enhanced customer experience.
"The move to an IHP hub is also extremely timely and we look forward to having greater pricing flexibility, including the ability to roll-out enhanced pricing models. We also anticipate benefits from partnering with CDL to bring our IHP and direct systems together within a proven insurance ecosystem."
CDL CEO Nigel Phillips added: "We are delighted to welcome Sabre to the CDL community and look forward to supporting them to expand their footprint and drive profitability as they embark on this digital transformation journey."
