Insurtech, CDL, has been crowned one of the UK's leading technology service providers after securing a place in this year's BusinessCloud InsurTech 50.

The exceptional achievement is the outcome of a combination of judging by an independent panel and a reader vote, with CDL making the final list which celebrates the country's most innovative start-ups, scale-ups and established firms creating original insurance technology.

CDL's insurtech ecosystem for data insights, product personalisation and consumer engagement delivers cloud-based transformational capabilities to the high volume insurance sector, and its placing comes after a number of successes in the past 18 months, despite the ongoing challenges caused by the pandemic. High profile client go-lives include Co-op Insurance, Cogent and RAC Insurance.

The company also established CDL Fintech (Europe) Limited as an Irish subsidiary to support its global expansion and achieved recognition as an advanced member of the AWS Partner Network (APN). It also attained Financial Services ISV Competency status for its Proteus insurer hosted pricing (IHP) solution and the 100 Amazon Web Services (AWS) Certifications milestone after doubling the number of accreditations it holds in a year.
