The multi-branch facility on the CDL Classic system enables Renew to run their two separate products with different branding. The solution enables them to accept business through their UK call centre, online through their website linked to their back office system through CDL's XML internet solution, and via aggregators. With the CDL 'Black Box' aggregator solution they can streamline aggregator quotes and respond quickly.
They have also purchased the CDL MIS solution to ensure streamlined and efficient reporting from the system. “As a start up, we want to start smart and get smarter, and our in-house tools for using Classic efficiently will enable us to do this”, continues Roberts.
The Renew brand is targeted at the over 40s market and is focused on 'taking care' at a demanding time of life both physically and emotionally. Likewise is targeted at the 18-39s market who are at an entirely different life stage and have different needs from the over 40s. Renew Insurance intend to listen to their customers, and offer cover to meet their needs according to their stage in life.
The company has a management team with extensive broking experience and a panel of over 40 insurers and they are building a 100% EDI motor panel. “EDI will enable us to communicate speedily with our insurer partners, and all of our products can be bought online, through aggregators or via a UK call centre”, says Roberts.
He continues “Many of the directors have extensive experience of working with CDL, and with a large panel and support from many aggregators, we aim to shake-up the age-related sector of the personal lines market, and intend to become a major player within a short period of time.”
