Stockport-based tech firm, CDL, has retained its Top Employers certification for the third year running, an official recognition that it is one of the best places to work in the UK.

The company, which was recently named in the FT Future 100 UK, employs almost 700 people at its campus on Kings Reach Road and is well known for its collaborative culture and investment in community schemes. This is demonstrated by a range of employee benefits, including flexible working hours and social and wellbeing initiatives, in addition to the support of local charities, through an extensive corporate responsibility programme.

The Top Employers Institute is the global authority on recognising excellence in people practices. Its annual, international research is undertaken to identify high-calibre organisations that provide an outstanding experience through strategic and thoughtful workplace programmes - creating an environment that empowers and develops employees.

To achieve the Top Employer certification, organisations must successfully complete the Institute's rigorous HR Best Practice Survey, which covers over 600 'People Development' practices, with all answers then independently audited and evaluated.
